Huh? Not sure I understand that Audra. There were F-150 4x4's produced and earlier there were also F-100 4x4's produced.

For what its worth, my '78 Custom had woodrain trim at least on the glovebox, and I'd assume, though cannot say for sure, the rest. I'll see about scrounging up some pics.

And the book lists an optional skid plate for the 25 gal tank, I personally have never seen a skid plate for a 25 tank.
I personally have the 25 Gallon Skid plate

Audra the Crew Cab Badges goes on the fenders right under the marker light

just like a camper special badge

the wood grain on the glove box door seem to be very common on the customs mine had it as well the ranger XLT also put a trim ring around the glove box

So this is what you call racetrack 4drbronko? I think almost everyone has a different idea about the racetrack trim. For all intended purposes of this thread and the way that I mentioned it the racetrack trim is what is in the body side groove and the lower trim was reffered to as the tu tone trim.

Now with that being said I see that your Bronco is a single color hence no need for tu tone trim. I have also seen pickup trucks in a single color with the lower tu tone trim. I don't know if Ford did it that way for whatever reason they wanted to or if the original buyer ordered it like that.

My 78 XLT Bronco is solid white, with the full outside trim package. It also has the tinted glass in the top. No HD suspension, but cruise, AC, tilt wheel, automatic. Gonna have to check about the side ashtray.

That is great. The exterior carrier was an option.

Lets try to keep this on track so others don't have to wade thru needless ramblings about what options came on their own Bronco.

If someone finds an error post up and I'll correct it. Thanks

Maybe I should have titled it: Racetrack ?

This is what I have allways seen reffered to as the "racetrack" chrome due to the fact it makes a "track" all the way around the center of the body.
Not my Bronco, I used it instead of my '79 because mine looks like poop, it is tu-tone though.

My '78 has the single run of chrome at the bodyline.

OK, so we'll call this the body side trim:

And the lower tu tone is supposed to be called race track trim. I'm changing the main thread.

This panel is from a factory CB equipped Bronco. Notice the lack of ash tray on it. My CA Bronco did not have the CB from the factory Bronco kid, I have modified the ash tray to fit the box behind it.

So I have an ash tray on both rear quarter panels. That means I had CB?

No.

Quote:
40 channel CB radio with antenna. This was available on all radio options. A simple way to tell if it had a CB originally if all wiring is gone look for an ash tray on the driver side cargo panel. If there is no ash tray it originally had a CB.
