The Bolt pattern for a Ford Ranger is 4.5 not 5.5 like most your full size fords' five lug applications. The wheels are the correct size and all, but the backspacing is less agressive, and the center hub is smaller. As the Ranger uses the 7.5 rear, and something like a Dana 35 front. Hope that clears that up for ya. And what you're looking at for Tires are only about an inch off. You'll get basically the same tire though. 1 inch isn't huge, but it's something you might wanna consider. I dunno, which ever set is more agressive ( I guess if you're comparing two sets, rather than just two sizes), and w/e gives you the best bang per buck.
