88 Bronco Build - Utility/Vacation/DD

Buddy of mine sold me a bronco this bronco for $500. 88 with 351 and C6 sitting on 33x12.50R15's.

Would love to keep it at stock height, haul my "in case of emergency" tools discreetly, and have it as a daily driver/fun vacation driver/all-around utility, vehicle.

These goals are more or less in order:

Short term goals (6-7 months) (would LOVE to take this to a week long vacation in July - but would also LOVE to drive it before then around town)
-clean and spray paint all rust covered areas
-replace fuel tank & filler neck
-if necessary - replace fuel lines
-repair/replace brake lines (hoping just rear)
-repair floor/bed rust
-replace rear spring perch & shackle
-repair back-up lamps
-install locking hubs (junkyard pull - buddy's idea)
-repair passenger door lock
-repair tailgate
-install fog lamps
-possibly new tires (if I take it on the trip)

Whenever goals/ideas:
-with the rust issue - considered building permanent storage fore/aft of wheel wells
-construct a removeable locking tool storage for the bed
-construct a bike shelf
-heavy duty bumpers - front and rear

Ideas I've thought about but probably wouldn't actually do:
-do a body swap - older ford body on bronco chassis (wife LOVES older trucks - 50's)
-frame-off
-solid front axle swap
-engine and/or tranny swap
-5.0 wiring harness swap (buddy's idea)
