Need a long lasting Battery for Bronco?

Battery is something that we have to deal with on Ford Bronco from time to time. If it's being driven daily than you probably not very concerned about battery charging, but if your rig stays in a garage for long periods of time you definitely know well that battery is loosing power pretty fast and you have to charge it from time to time. New S4-64 Battery by Bosch is has an advanced capacity and will serve you much longer than an average battery.

Polarity: Straight
Amp Hour Capacity: 60
Voltage: 12V
Battery Type: Conventional
BCI Group Size: 64
CCA: 620
Reserve Capacity: 100.
Terminal Type: Top

Bosch® S4-64 - S4 Quality Performance Battery at CARiD

This battery has just been released by Bosh and will be available for sale starting from early August 2016!

These batteries are available for pretty much all other models.

So did they make up a new group size or did you mean Group 65?
Also, who is the manufacturer?

I found three sources on the web that state that Johnson Controls is the manufacturer.

One source:
Quote:
"Johnson controls also makes some or all of these batteries as well.
Acura, Advance Auto Parts, Autocraft, Western Auto, Tough One, Alliance, American Hardware, Ames, Varta, Blains Farm & Fleet, Battery Alliance, Bosch, Carrefour(Europe), Champion, Amara Raja Batteries LTD(Joint venture with Johnson Controls India).
Varta, Optima Batteries, LTH, and Heliar are all battery manufactures owned by Johnson Controls.
Johnson Controls supplies Ford Motor company, Diamler Chrysler, Honda, Toyota, Nissan, and Isuzu with original equipment batteries. So next time you go and buy a battery, or a automobile chances are its a battery made by Johnson Controls."

Their factory is basically in my back yard. Well... over the hill and through the woods but... I have a BIG backyard! Haha.

Well the 620 CCA is your problem right off the bat, I wouldn't use anything less then an 850 CCA or 900 CCA if you can find on BUT the average life cycle of most batteries I've found in 13 years of BKO ownership has been around 5-6 years at best......Costco is where I've been getting mine for around $80.00 with turning the old one in BUT it fires up every time without fail.....

Good Luck ~
