Bronco Info: Stock '94 Bronco except 33X12.5 Goodyears
Question Sterling 10.25/10.5 Width WMS to WMS

After searching and not finding answers, I ask these questions:

1) What is the width (WMS to WMS) of a Sterling 10.25/10.5 SRW axle?

2) What is the width difference (WMS to WMS) between the Sterling SRW and the 8.8?

3) Does/Has anyone ever run one without swapping out the front axle?

My rig: '94 Bronco XL; bone stock; 33X12.5 Goodyear MT/R on factory rims.

Through searching I've found that the spring perches are the same width on the Sterling SRW as my 8.8.

And that I need a VSS axle as well.

I also know that I'll need a pair of rims to deal with the 8 lug set up.

Thanks

I can't answer your question exactally, but the width is pretty much the same between the 8.8 and 10.25 axle. If there is a difference its not enoufgh for you to notice. I don't know about the 10.5 axle, but its probably close too. If anything it may be slightly wider but not by much.

O.K., that's a start. Thanks!

I plan on running my stock front axle with a 10.25/10.5 so I'm looking to match the offset of both sets of rims.

My Bronco is my DD and not used for any serious offroading.
