I notice alot of prerunner trucks are mounting a yellow light out back. I have looked into it and its because Yellow shines brighter or easier to see in dusty conditions. I had one laying around and mounted up on the tire carrier. Inside the tire on the piece or metal that the tire slides onto. The only problem I have is that to remove the spare I would have to take the light off. Has anyone found a good spot to mount one, or am I stuck using that. I will upload pics tonight from home.

I mounted mine above the third brake light on the top, this keeps it up high and very visible in the dust. The nice thing about doing that was that I was able to keep the wiring hidden all the way up front. Another option I have seen is to make a bracket to mount it above the tailights, I am not a fan of this since it could get ripped off pretty easy. If you want to keep it on the tire rack you could fab up a small pole attatch it to the carrier behind the tire and leave enough excess wire to swing the carrier out.

I thought about that, might do it. For now its on with removable bullet connectors so I can disconnect them in a hot second.
