New base

Finished up Electronic Principles at Keesler AFB with a 95 average and now rollin' on a bus westbound to Sheppard AFB in northern Texas for the rest of my F16 avionics training. Not sure how long that is or what there is to do at Sheppard, but the good thing is now I can have a truck on base, so thinkin' 'bout buyin' a cheap beater F150 or Bronc local.

Where is your first duty assignment going to be?

I was at Sheppard back in February for two weeks. There are a few wheeling spots if you do decide to pick up a truck.

Yeah, place is a little rough around the edges. Smells like my grandmothers basement actually. The last people in this room were friggin pigs and I've spent two hours cleaning it before even unpackin my stuff. 4 glade plug ins too.

Also scored a brand new huffy mountain bike for 20 bucks from a guy that was leaving.

The trucks are rust free there.... buy one!

I didnt know witchita falls and Goodfellow AFB was 4 hours drive apart so never said anything when I got my tickets... woops Just made it on time for my first day of class

Same thing happened to me when I got to EP, we lived is this old Navy dorm with community showers/bathrooms on one of the anexes of lackland (Medina?) Place was nasty, only had one working shitter too:duh Guys that lived there before me were 2 services guys that left the same time, food, hair, dirt, clothes, shoes, and other stuff everywhere
