can we not go overboard on the solid axle thing? No one in the go fast forum has talked bad about a solid axle, It's a class 3 truck, and i'll root for it weather it's a ttb or a solid axle!

Ok, I intended no debate.

I'm just a little pumped up about my recent fun with my 79 solid axle rig and have no animosity toward the TTB. I have a great deal of respect for the fab skills and tech involved with what you guys are doing here. I'm pretty new to the go fast side of off road, though I've been going fast in other forms of motor-sport for years. I had hoped to look to you guys for support and tech knowledge in my efforts to improve my rigs performance and had received some pretty cool help so far.

If you all are that thin skinned I'll just have to learn to shut up and watch from the sideline. :doh0715:

Dude! It's not about being thin skinned! I for one have just had enough of the sas vs ttb bs to last a long time. this forum is to talk about any type of go fast rig, and leave the crap at the door!

Hold up.... as I said I intended no SAS vs TTB Crap at all. I am trying to emulate a little of what you guys are doing with the cut and turned TTBs with my solid rig.

I didn't come in here intending to stir up sh** or get on anybodies nerves and I'm sorry if you took what I have said or posted that way. I was just excited to see an example of what I'm shooting for pictured in the thread.

Please don't even begin to feel like I was flicking any crap toward TTB's. I'm simply trying to begin to make mine work as well as some of the rigs I am seeing represented here in this forum.... Check my past posts I don't think I have ever said anything disparaging toward a TTB

I don't think I can make it any clearer than that.. I'm here to learn and share what I know.

B.B. obviously you haven't read many of Archer's posts previously. He has been pumped about the decision to make his 79 a go-fast prerunner, that is all. He was hoping to get other FSB owners, with straight axles, to put some pics ,of their desert, dune, jumping experiences, that is all.

And for the record, what kind of axle do the Moss Brothers have to run in their 1979 rig? You know, the 5 time reigning Class 3 Score Champions? Hmmm?

Just kidding:toothless
