Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Chris is asking for those who are currently running floater rearends, which in the desert set will be the 9" 90% of the time, to post pictures of their set-ups. This would include, but is not limited to back braces & trusses, brakes, hubs, tube diameter & thickness, spindle type, wheel stud size (most likely 5/8), axle splines (35 or 40), WMS-WMS, center section type (high/low pinion, nodular, etc), drive flanges, etc.

Thanks guys for the info. I'm running the original 9 right now but I'm going for a full floater once I get further down the line with my build.

do it right the first time, it will be cheaper in the long run. example
currie 9 non floater 35 splin spool with disc brakes $2750.00 plus 1 broken axle and all the studs shread off $500.00
full floater 40 spline $3800.00 total for rear end in last year $7050.00
sucks I could have just bought a chrisman 10" for $7500.00
live and learn
just my 0.02

LOL. You lost me there.

I think he means he bought the Axle, messed it up, got it fixed, than upgraded and the grand total for all of that was 7050?

Pics coming soon. wiring harness in dash caught fire about 2 weeks ago. i have since removed whats left of the dash and front window. the rest of the bronco is ok after a good cleaning. the harness grounded on a sharp piece of metal that was cut away to put the cage through the firewall.

see ya in baja
