Alright guys we need a NW fullsize Bronco annual run. Will it be Sodsy's mudbog, TDS or what. It seems we are not very organized in these parts, so maybe if we plan something for June/July? What is everybody's thoughts? Also "CRAZED" can get us some windshield banners!

The problem with any run is that you can't get close to everybody. 7 Mile is always an option. Something closer to the WA/OR border is good and of course I would love a Naches run...I still have alot to do to my truck and I will be down for a few weeks after this back surgery, that is why I at least wanted to get ya'll thinking about something in the future. Lets at least get everybody interested. :?

Well guys... I hate to say it, but the onlly NW runs I'll be making are in 7Mile.
My rigs running, but not giving me much confidence.
I have to dump some cash in her before I could drive any distance for a wheelin trip... and this summer I have the SUPER BIKER VACATION to fund, so it's gonna be awhile before I can afford to beef the Stoned Bronco up.

Sorry!

However... any runs at 7 Mile and I'm there.
Break it or not! :D

Did anybody happen to save any Contact info for "ChrisNeel".
He was a noobie over at MBB and was a local to me.
Said he lived 15 minutes from 7 mile.

Just curiouse, becouse I would really like to hook up with him for some local wheelin fun.

I took the wife and boy through 7 mile yesterday, just puttin around in her Heep Cherokee... man it was nice. Sunny day, MUD was not frozen, seen some Bronco's, Heeps, Trucks, Quads and Bikes there... made me jones for another trip out!

I think Naches or 7 mile would be a good run. Naches would be better, that way the Portland crew & Dave wouldn't have far to go and neither would the Canadian. Someone just needs to set a date, perferably not the same time as another group.

My vote is for sticking with the original Truck Haven plan. Also for doing the run about the same time of year that we did the last run.

You Cali guys got runs coming out your but. This is kinda a North west run that everybody is welcome to come to. We have been talking about getting everyone in this area together since the early MBB days and it has never panned out,. so hopefully since we have a new web site we can finally all get together! I am not taking anything away from the Cali crew its just easier for us to have a seperate run up here. When I finally hit the lotto I will make evry run ya'll post, but until then...

So does anyone have a pic of where Naches is? If it's only a few hours I could probably make it. If I can count on anyone to help me get a broken Bronco home (only if I break it, of course).

Ok, how do I make that work now?

right click on it and go to properties. copy the url and then go to your profile and put the url for the avtar.

So let me see if I have this straight. Instead of doing a big anual run to try and get everyone together, we are now doing regional runs? Sounds like normal wheeling to me. The thought behind the anual run is to get everyone together to meet each other. There will always be someone that it is just too far to go. But that is why the location was being moved every year. Last years spot was not the closest place for me but was not as far as it was for others. This year the site is a lot closer to me as well as others. Next year it might have been planned for a place that would have been "to far to travel". But if we look at it as "regional" then it is no diffrent than a normal wheeling trip. It has to be a anual trip that everyone strives to make it to. It has to be the "Big" trip for the board to get people excited about attending and meeting the folks off the board that they talk to daily. I list almost all the trips I go on, so that anyone that wants to hook up can= regional wheeling.

Once again I say keep the same site that was originally planned and the same time frame that was originally planned (nov.) for this year. Then the mods can pick a spot for next years "big" run and ask locals to the selected site from the board to organize it. If several "big" or anual runs are being done what is the incentive to travel very far to any of them.

I am not wording this very well but hopefully you see the point I am trying to make. Thanks

I see the point JCA and I do appreciate it too. I just think this year will be a bad one for those folks traveling long distance.
With gas prices and the economy making it hard to sink cash in for a reliable Bronco Road trip... attendance will be down.
I wouldn't call a regional get together normal wheelin though, cuase we're still looking at a few hours road time for most of us and the main point is the same... to meet up with our FSB friends.

The thing is us WA/OR/ID guys have been talking about getting together for quite a while now. I may have mislead by saying a FSB regional annual run, however it was just a way for those of us that are kinda close to get together. We are not able to get out as much as some of the others on the board. I personally have a job that is very irradict so it is hard to plan anything in advance and plan for a long or far run. Especially with things that have happened in the last few days. It was started as a post to see if we were still going to get together for some wheeling. Anybody and everybody is welcome as far as I am concerned and I will be more than happy to call it whatever ya'll want.

I think the Naches area would be a good choice, but I'm up for most anything within a 4-6 hour drive. Count me in.......Sod, if a date is decided upon, drop me an e-mail. I don't make it to this board as often as I'd like.

Later,
Jeremiah
