I generally record the Nascar race on Sat. & Sun., in case I fall asleep in between {which I usually do, because of my meds.}. Well, last week I set 1 VCR to record the races, while I set the one in my sons room to record something else, after a few days that I went to see the other thing I recorded, I realized "How bad I had it", I recorded the races on both VCR's. :shocked: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: :lollol: :lollol: :lollol: :damn: :sleep

I get impatient at the drag races down at firebird. I dont have the ability to sit still long enough for a nascar race. I can give up about 5 minutes to watch the end of a race, thats about it. I like the cars and big hooter women that attend nascar races, but it aint for me either.

Hey Joe did you go to the Bristol race a few weekends back. I was there. Man what a way to watch a race. If you go to the August race lemie know, I don't drinks beer but we could drink some sweet tea and chew on a steak or two.... :lol: :lol:

Yip you guys that have never been don't know what you are missing. Forget the super speedways. No fun. Go to a NASCAR short track race. You'll be like a bass on a crank bait.............HOOKED!!!!!!!!!!

Man, Mike, and Joe........You guys hit the nail right on the head. Last weekends race was awesome. This weekend at Martinsville is gonna be exciting.

I have been hooked ever since I was a young one and my folks took me to Daytona and I watch Richard Petty {The King} win the race.

I also agree, there is nothing like short track racing. But since my accident I cant take the vibration and the rumble of the race cars, so I have to settle for second best.

I am gonna try and get some good tickets for the wife {oh yeah, she loves nascar too and knows everydriver} and the kids for the Homestead races on 11-16-03.

I have it BAD {GOOD}

P.S. My favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt #3 Lives on...............

Talladega is the shiznit...I agree if you go you will be hooked. I remember watching Sterling and Coo-coo Marlin, Darrel Waltrip in Nashville as well as some of the other Big name guys...I almost wreck the car today cause they were racing in Yakima right beside the interstate with nothing but some small trees and a chain link fence between ...

Used to have it bad....and I got a room full of early and Mid-'90s Mark Martin and Jack Roush memorabilia to prove it. Ever since the Thunderbird was removed from the sport it hasn't been the same. I remember the last design of the T-bird you could hear that thing cut through the air, it would whistle like a rocket going into the turns at Texas when I was down there to see the first Texas race, not to mention Jeff Burton's first career win. Lately the sport doesn't do it for me anymore. Partly because of the stupid rules Nascar has now (i.e. Talledega, Jr. should've been penalized. Otherwise don't have such a stupid rule to have controversy about.) Also the cars they have running in it...but the Darlington race where Kurt Busch and Ricky Craven beat the hell out of eachother going to the finish line reminded me why I used to have it soooo bad.
