Oh man...dad and I got in 106.8 miles yesterday on the sled's and this morning I can't move. LOL But it was so worth it!! :thumbup We had everything from sunshine, to snow squalls where you couldn't see in front of you, than a mile down there would be sun. It was awesome! The trees were just covered in snow, the trails weren't too bad. They were out grooming, passed a groomer for the first time...those things are HUGE. Left home at 8:45 am, unloaded from the trailer at 10 am and hit the trail at 10:30 am, and got back to the trailer at 5 pm. I'm so ready to go again. :D Unreal though how warm I was all day. Back when we were growing up, we'd have froozen our rears off with in a couple hours. Though back than we didn't have bulit in hand warmers and such. LOL
Wish dad had brought his digi cam along...the scenery was so beautiful. After lunch dad let me drive his sled and lead for about 10 miles...I didn't want to give it back. :toothless I did get a compliment from him though, I was a pretty good rider and that a couple more days of riding and a faster, smaller sled I'd be able to keep up with him and the guys. :beer
I asked him last night when we got home, when the next run was. :D But I think I did quite well, considering I haven't ridden a sled in 3 years. lol
