Johnny Wayne 03-23-2008, 03:56 PM So I decided to take the top off today. I am still working on my other top, hopefully it will be done by next weekend.
Thanks Chemfrk for helping me to lift the top off.

redwagon 03-23-2008, 03:57 PM Nice...and the weather is just about perfect for running around topless right now....
Johnny Wayne 03-23-2008, 04:44 PM It will still be cold at 0500 when I head to work but oh well.

Johnny Wayne 03-23-2008, 05:23 PM Cool thanks Need4racin. I have not figured out how to post pics like that.
Thanks.
sdhighrise 03-23-2008, 05:41 PM Looks nice. I live in San Diego too. You might have seen my 1990 Bronco lifted, black fiberglass fenders, red hood with black stripes, has 35" tires all the way around. Easily noticed by the socal paint stencil on the rear of it. If you see me, honk and we'll talk about wheeling sometime. I'm always looking for other bronco owners around my area to hang out with and talk about crushing rocks (chevy's).
Johnny Wayne 03-23-2008, 09:35 PM I am actually in the Oceanside area, on the base.
BIGT2317 03-24-2008, 12:04 AM nice, I love topless gir..........I mean broncos

sdhighrise 03-26-2008, 12:54 PM I have to fix the cooling system this week. Anyone got any person who can help with water pump, thermostat, hoses. I can do the work just seeing if anyone has the hookup on parts. Help is greatly appreciated.
sdhighrise 03-29-2008, 10:49 PM coolant system fixed. ready to rumble. Just an occasional miss. Believe its the map sensor, timing, or the egr. Once thats done, ready to romp this.
sdhighrise 03-29-2008, 10:50 PM any good areas to wheel other than proctor (government officials are now kicking people out of there with citations)
gabronco91 03-29-2008, 11:00 PM You got a good looking Bronco. :thumbup
JD_Bronco 03-29-2008, 11:57 PM There was Fiesta Island, Nothing hardcore there, just a cool place to chill for a night and have a nice bonfire....
There is a little bit of beach wheeling there too...
I used to live right outside of San Diego, in LaJolla.

Where are you and how far do you want to go?
Come up to Pendelton on the 12th, we will tell you about lots of places to wheel.:beer
sdhighrise 03-31-2008, 10:51 PM Pendleton sounds good. I live in el cajon near the boardwalk. I've got it marked for the 12th. What time? Adress of meet place? Found out just that my plug had split at the connection and that's causing the misfire. All new Autolite AP24 plugs. Purs like a kitten, runs like a cheetah. Eats them chevy's like drinking beer at a nascar race.
sdhighrise 04-02-2008, 12:07 PM Distance to wheel really doesn't matter. I have been to Gordons and gone up Tes. Glamis, Ocotillo, and planning a moab excursion. My friend and I went to colorado for spring break and wheeled out there in the snow near hayden and steamboat. As long as it isn't like east coast or canada i think I will be ok. See you on the twelth for the mg.
sdhighrise 04-02-2008, 12:09 PM saw a way awesome soft top for a bronco the other day. Its like the humvee style for bronco's. Only a couple c notes. I might invest to save some weight and make room for the surfboards and dirt bike.
sdhighrise 04-04-2008, 04:13 PM Is there anyone with ideas on how to make it so that the hard top slides off instead of lift off? Therefore its easier than one man having a problem. Thanks.
sdhighrise 04-09-2008, 02:50 PM Hope to see you all at the meet and greet. Did a new layer of murder black on the bronco! Looks really good for rattle canned.
