Hello everyone.
My name is Matt and I've owned my FSB for about 6 months now. It's pretty much just sat next to the shop waiting for decent weather. A couple of weeks ago I pulled the transmission out and rebuilt it. Mods include: two extra clutches in the low/reverse pack, two extra clutches in one of the other packs too. I have forgotten which one. I know we had to miss down the thick steal to get it to fit though. We also drilled several holes in the clutch drums for more oil release, and installed a transgo shift kit. I'm also going to install a pressure guage full time so that I can monitor the throttle valve pressure, and a temp guage so I don't fry this transmission like the previous owner fried that one. Before I put it back in I'm going to replace the oil pump, rear main seal and pan gasket and I might as well do the valve cover gaskets while it's out too. I'm sure I'll be picking your brains as I go.
As for me, I'm 30 and live in the great Pacific Northwest. I'm looking forward to getting the bronco back on the road.
