About a week after i got my 78 i decided to put in some new seats, the originals were see through. well i was so excited once i got the drivers in i wanted to go play, and we just had a wicked rain storm so texas mud was abundant. i threw the passenger in and tightened some nuts and grabbed the wife and headed out. well the first run up my fav hill.... i heard this pop and looked over at the wife and all i seen was feet! i looked back and she was hanging on to the seat belt for dear life, so im headed up hill sliding everywhere and it dawned on me that the bolts i tightened were for the bracket to floor and not the seat to bracket bolts..... well she hasnt been in the truck since and still hasnt realized how funny it was afterward.

Frickin hilarious. I don't think I could get my wife back in the Bronc if that happened to her..... When wheeling, she prefers riding in the 97 Pathfinder with AC and heated leather seats anyway. Not as much fun to hammer on of course!

I took my old lady wheeling in the DEEP SNOW one time, and she gets motion sick real freggin easy. We were slipping and sliding around in 20 inches of snow, I was having fun but when we got home, she went and threw up. Never been wheeling with me since....

Oh well...

:shocked My female opinion of this is that it was a very funny story. I wouldn't have trouble getting back in the Bronco. But, you can bet I'd have a good look at that seat before getting in again, in fact, I'd probably have my husband get in the passenger seat and I'll drive.

By the way guys, any "weight" jokes for women in general are the #1 reason for divorce. :rockon

me my girl my friend and his girl were commin back from gettin my friends f150 stuck in 2 feet of snow (at the end of april...Thank you Upper peninsula) on the way back i had to blast through some deep muddy ruts. One of them sent my front end into the air and towars the cliff lined with smaller trees. my front tires caught after my rears bucked up and i caught the road just in time to hear my girl scream at the top of her lungs (right in my ear) not only did i nearly shit my self for almost going off road literally and killing up i got a shreiking banshee callin in my ear. lookin back its the funniest thing that happened in the last two weeks...I love my bronco
