View Full Version : No seafoam for 6,000 miles = lots of smoke loarmistead 03-26-2008, 01:27 PM I hadn't seafoamed for a while, and we were all over doing tune-ups at the house and I decided to shoot some seafoam through the brake booster. Just kinda looked like an engine with leaky valve stem seals. Maybe opening the throttle up works better, I always just start it and let it idle for a few minutes, then go for a short drive. loarmistead 03-26-2008, 06:03 PM Thanks. I had no idea it sounded like that and I've had that setup for a couple of years now. :rofl: When you're riding in it it's easy to forget what it sounds like on the outside. To get that noise it's just a regular Flowmaster 40 series, 2 chamber muffler and JBA shorty headers. The ol' 351 has 121,000 miles and still going strong.
