In tai chi if you reach a certain level they teach you the J 13 slap .
look it up J13 tai chi slap .

if you connect with the jaw from a side angle with a reasonable amount of force
using a a slap it is almost certain that they go out ,that why you cant palm strike in UFC/mma.
