It was bound to happen. To many stupid rednecks and morons thinking about only themselves. It's sad. There was such a great cleanup effort a few years ago and it looked great. But you can't stop stupid people from doing stupid things. Every time I would go wheeling up there I would bring a trash bag. Brought home a full bag almolst every time. I don't understand how these morons think they can trash the place and not have people get pissed off. It's not a difficult concept. Bring trash up there, shoot at it, and bring it back down to the dump. Some people just are so inconciderate. I think we should be able to fine and/or report people if we see them doing that kind of crap. I could go on forever.

I agree but if the NRA is no longer involved the area will probablly be closed entirely in a couple yrs the shooters myself included were the only ones bringing the cash necessary to the table. I have participated in annual cleanups by shooters in the area and it is a shame that people have to be so irresponsible.

Yup, heard about this yesterday. It is a shame people are so damn stupid with the way they treat areas like this. They enjoy going up and using them, yet they destroy them and then bitch when they get closed. I have been up there plenty of times shooting, and every time I go up I clean up at least twice the shells I shoot off. Bringing up shit too shoot like tv's, computers, exc is a stupid idea. But I think we were all just counting down the days for this to happen. I wasn't surprised when I read about it.

dont know who is reporting that i did not read the whole thing but i was up there yesterday around 12 to 1230 and there were easily 12 differant groupd shooting there. there was a ranger posted there all day though. so........
