Tomorrow the 26th of April I'm going to the Tanner Gun Show in Denver. Wondering if any of you would like to meet there? I should be walking out with a shotgun and maybe another rifle, perhaps SKS. My # is 970-420-4936 if any of ya plan on going I'll be there around 10 am.

Going to be looking at an Ithaca M37 because they eject from the bottom and I'm a lefty. If I can find an SKS for cheap I'll pick it, I don't want a pretty one because I want to modify it.

Nope...but have shot several mil-surp rifles and love them. Hard to beat the cheap ammo, aftermarket, and reliability they offer.

Well, found an Ithaca M37 like I wanted, but the price was just too high, and found a Yugo SKS that was in great shape for $200 and couldn't pass that price up, so I took the Yugo SKS. I think I want a tactical 12 ga. now after holding many of them today.

Already ordered the Draganov stock, 4x30 scope, and mount off ebay for $89 shipped! Now just have to track down some mags for cheap too.

Cheaperthandirt.com They are located in Fort worth i go there about once a month and get ammo. they have tons of sks stuff.

also if you ever start getting misfires the first place to check is where the gas tubeconnects to the grenade launcher switch. Mine was misfiring every cshot, so i took a piece solid copper wire and rolled it around the edge and made a gasket. It fires like a dream now.

Man that's high for a Yugo. Have they gone up? I got mine 2 years ago for $110. Have fun with it and be careful with the mods. It's easy to make the damn thing illegal thanks to the retarded laws. :banghead

Make sure you clean that thing good too. Here's a good how to:

In my area right now they are going between 200-250. But that is for a top notch mint condition one. I paid $120 for mine 2 yrs ago and it was in okay shape

I've since added the stock, and made sure to keep it in parts compliance. It has been cleaned, several times, and had probably 2,000 rounds through it with little problems. I have 2 Tapco 20 round mags that work very well with it. And $200 is about what they are going for now...sad that you can get an AK for $200 more, but it is what it is.
