its been a while, but im pretty sure that you just clean the metal with it, however, im pretty sure that you can thin down the herc with xylol, so i dont see how it matters

It is just to clean any dust off, your suppose to prep the surface, let it dry and then roll on the herculiner, or spray it.

Well, i guess i'll sand it, then wipe it clean with the xylol. i got a gallon kit of herc, but im gonna go buy another kit. im gonna do the bumpers and grillguard for now.

i'm gonna do the bumpers and grill guard tomorrow, and the bed, hesdache rack and maybe toolbox in about 2 weeks. ive got 5 days for my b-day, gonna do it then. but i'll let you know man.

got the first coats done on the bumpers, gonnd do the second in a little. looks great so far! im impressed. its all over my hands and feet, lol. and i think i ruined a new pair of shorts i bought yesterday :(

we'll see how it goes. 3 initial coats? i did 2 on the bumpers, and will do 2 on the rest of it. gonna do the grillguard tomorrow, and the rest on the 26th or 27th
