I am looking for a tailgate for my 88 . There are none here in Calgary so I thought I would check around the Spokane area because my father-in-law lives there and he could pick it up for me.

Highguy...does it have to be any certain color? Want the wide chrome strip with it? I know where I can get one. How much $$ ya willing to spend, and I'll make a call for ya. I live in Arlington(near to I-5)....its north of Seattle.

color doesnt matter just has to be rust free and very little or no dents.

I got one here in new orleans for $85.00 and it had the glass, motor ....everything. The guy had another in the yard and you could probably get it for even less cause the glass was off track but it was still there. Looked to be very little rust if any. Color was red and white. I don't know what shipping would be from 70131 but if your interested just let me know and i'll hook ya up. :beer

well Broncodude a brand new one at the local Ford dealer here sells them for 350 canadian, but I would prefer a complete one so it would be an easy swap. So if I cannot find one soon cheaper than 2 or 3 hundred I will just buy a new one and change the guts myself. Thanx

CRASHNDENT, thanx but I think the cost of shipping would be very expensive for a complete tailgate from new orleans to Calgary. Thats why I posted in the PNW chapter because it is not too far away

There's a FORD ONLY salvage yard here in Spokane.
There's also Spaldings... Salvage & U-PULL-IT yards, should have your Dad give them both a call and see what they might have for you.
