Hmmm, and that's needed why???:popc1:

A standard knob-type torque wrench usually has instructions stating it's accuracy (even the cheapies are within +/- 4% usually)

Well the book and every one I've talked to say to use it. Man across the alley says he can do it by feel. Probly can but I don't know him well enough to trust him.

Wish I could help you out. But it's a long drive to Boulder just for a tourque wrench. Don't have a dial indicator. Good luck.

I appreciate it. I was able to borrow one close so it worked out. The rear is done and I like it.
Comeing up Oxford to Broadway from SantaFe this thing would kick up and down at least 3 times. And that was in drive (3rd). Now it doesn't kick down at all. But over 45 to 50 it likes overdrive. Do 60 at right about 1900 rpm.
No gear noise or anything. Now the front in a week or two.

What size gears you go with?

I went with 456's. I only have 33's but it feels just right to me. Being an ole muscle car guy, it's nice to feel that engine brakeing when you let off it. It's only a little but it's there. And the motor and exaust sound a hell of a lot better. I wouldn't re-gear again if I went to 35's. But knowing what I know now and feeling it I would go 488's with 35's hands down.
I've only drove it a little but I know I'm getting better milage. I'm lucky to keep it over a quarter tank, and what driveing I've done since the gear change would have had me at a station allready. Still at a quarter tank:chili::thumbup
