monkey4life 05-31-2008, 10:09 AM well, i just moved to Golden Colorado and man is it nice. i got here yesterday around 6pm after driving 1700+miles from Maryland. After towing a 2000lb trailer its nice to have some performance back lol.
I would like to get in touch with some other fsb members/users in this area...so far i have spotted a monochromed orange bronco with a white tire carrier in the same apartment complex that i am living in...so if you are on here, let me know.
I am really looking forward to wheeling around here this summer!! :rockon
btw, right now i am living about 5 minutes from colorado mills mall...

BoulderBronco 06-01-2008, 02:24 AM Welcome to Colorado. I'm about 20 minutes north of you in Boulder. I'm down to wheel as soon as my Bronco is ready. Only light stuff right now.
96blkbeauty 06-01-2008, 02:56 AM Good to have another member close to all of us. I live in Greeley, about an hour north of Golden, but I have many friends in Golden so I will be in that area quite a bit this summer. They live two blocks from the Coors Brewery...close to the School of Mines Campus. Only about a ten minute drive from you.
wileec 06-02-2008, 09:32 AM Welcome we have just (in the last year) started to get some group stuff together.

88XLT 06-02-2008, 02:48 PM Glad to welcome another East coaster to CO! I moved from N Virginia about 2.5 years ago, although I live in S denver, near the University of denver.
Hopefully once my new engine is installed this week, Ill be down for some 4 wheelin. Brian
Rick3373 06-02-2008, 03:21 PM Well, if it makes you happy to be there, more power to you. I couldn't stand the Denver metro area and left there 4 years ago. I simply don't like people very much anyway, so I came back to where I grew up and don't like all the tourists, just like the vast majority of locals around here.
Welcome!, I'm south of you in Littleton.

its not like i have much choice right now. my family moved here and its where i ended up over summer break. I do like it so far though...time will tell if i want to move here myself...
as a side note, i am looking for someone who will let me borrow a sawzall or jigsaw for cutting my fenders (35s/stock). mine was packed into storage in maryland, I hauled my set of swampers almost 2000miles and forgot it...:duh

Welcome dude.
A HF cheapie grinder and wheel for $18? tops will do the trick. Cost ya about that much to come get the tools from me (in gas). BTW I'm east and north of you, oh maybe 30 mins.
