Well, Thursday night, packing up for the trip to Katemcy Rocks, weather starts to degrade.

Go outside and watch a funnel cloud form over our heads, never touched the ground, therefore it wasn't a "tornado" but it produced some SERIOUS wind bursts.

Only reported injuries were in the motel with no roof (pics inside that link)

Needless to say, never made it down to Katemcy Rocks

we had some of that yesterday in the chicago land area. and then we had some severe thunderstorms. i'd guess the winds were gusting up to 40mph or so.

i go outside to close the windows on the lincoln. i open the door to get out and the wind turns and rips the door out of my hand. bent the ****ing hinge. now the drivers door is open about 1/4'' or so at the top of corner of the door in relation to the back door.

**** mother nature.

We've had alot of that going on here in GR.

Today marked the 3rd day in a row of Severe Storms rolling through, looks like we have another line coming through tonight, we just had one at about 3P today. So another one tonight, and they are calling for one more day tomorrow before they let up.

I am enjoying the shit out of this weather.

Yeah. Heard about that Tornado just south of Chicago there...

This next line thats about to roll through in 30 minutes or so don't look so bad. Being almost 10P here they tend to wind down quite a bit.
