I've had my '96 for about a year and a few months now. It's a bare bones special. No power anything. 351. OJ White with a blue topper.
Improvements I've made:
New springs (cargo springs) - sits about an inch and a half above where it did stock.
New shocks (Rancho RS 5000's)
Front end reconditioned (lots of minor parts).
New tires (31 x 10.5 Coursers)
K and N air filter.
Just patched and improved the drainage on my driver side quarter panel - turned out pretty good! Let's see how it holds up now.....
Warn Premium lockers.
It's got 97,000 miles now - it had about 86,000 14 months ago when I bought it. It's the most fun of any vehicle I've ever driven. I'm heading to the upper peninsula of MI this weekend on a wheeling adventure. :thumbup Can't wait! I'll be camping and wheeling in Hemingway's country along the Fox River outside of Seney. Lots of nice sand hills to play on and creeks to cross.
I'm on BroncoZone also, but I think this website gets a bit more traffic. I'm michibronc on there too. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone. I'll post some pics whenever they let me - it doesn't look like I can right now.
