Greetings,
I have recently purchased a 1980 Bronco "beater" for $350. I joined the site to learn a little more about what I have gotten myself into.
My first exerience with it was yesterday. I took it out to see what was working well and what wasn't. I was quite impressed for $350 I had a decent 4x4 that ran really well until the radiator broke loose and prceeded to be eaten by the fan. The engine then proceeded to overheat quite quickly. I tried to baby it along by taking long breaks too cool it. Eventually it blew a head gasket and stopped running all together. I ended up having to tow it home with my Titan.
I hope to fix it this week so I can take it camping this weekend, and I may need your help or advise. I am no where close to being a mechanic.
