damn i didn't know you were headin up rodney. I would got your number and met up with ya. I was there in my 04'cobra. I dunno about anyone else but track prep sucked. It was real bad in the mopar lane. I get better traction on the damn street.

No doubt on the track prep.My first two time trial runs were great and could not hook up after that!

I wish I would have realized this was going on before just now.

what year fairlane? my pops has a 67 and we love it.

I'll say the track prep did suck, but the fact is everyone and their damn brother had their mustang and decided to dump the clutch and spin for 3/4 of the length of the track before they'd hook... sarcasm and exageration on the 3/4 of the length stuff.

I Broke out 1st round, little did I know my truck would decide it wanted to run faster with the heat of the day. Dialed a 17.80 and broke out at a 17.74.


It was a fun day, couple of my buddy's went to 4th and 5th round, my boss's friend Jeff went 3rd round and red lit (pro streeted Early Bronco) and Joel another one of the guys with us had fuel issues middle of the track in his 67 Mustang.

haha that was me. :duh i hooked in the pepsi lane but not in the mopar lane. I would launch and the car would just sit there and spin thru first and second. It was a crappy day for sure.

Tell ya it was actually a real good day for me. I'm out there nearly every friday night and the Ranger ran it's fastest time yet. Just screws up my consistancy thats all.

im still shocked at how bad track prep was. I was on slicks and still couldn't hook.
