If I can get my dust storm fixed, anyone up for MSV (http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=18and)and Coney Flats (http://www.traildamage.com/trails/index.php?id=15). Both very stockable trails. and not far from North Denver/Boulder- Simlar in distance as Left Hand Carnage.

Mark might you have time tomorrow (Wednesday) after work to assist in figuring this out?

Going to be out of town on the 5th. But take lots of pics! Those water crossings on Coney Flats look fun

It is. The rest of the trail is pretty mellow. At least that is how I remember it.

The cutoff trail between MSV and Coney Flats has a pretty rough section about midway. A pretty stock vehicle should get through with good spotting. It's a bunch of rocks big enough to grab axle tubes, maybe a rocker panel.

It will be my 4th or 5th trip mostly with stock heeps. I do not think it is any worse than Bill Moore.

Wow, both those trails look very cool. People keep coming up with new trails right in our backyard. Very cool how many trails are within 1 hours drive or less of the north Denver/Boulder area.

Timing wise though, I can't make a trip on the 5th...gotta wait until sometime when its good for everyone near month end, but these trails are definitely of interest to do.

I am free after work today Matt. You wanna wander over about 4? I started at 6:30 this AM so will be done by 3:30. I saw your post about this issue and chimed in a little as well.

Check out Eldora / Caribou. Very scenic, and one very hair raising obstacle. It's in the Wells book.

Thanks for trying to get us out, but I plan on sleeping-in and hitting the beach. I may go play at Boulder Carnage early on the 4th or 6th.

So you guys that have been in Colorado awhile...the trip regularity is getting better aren't they? I mean, this year alone at least for the norther group this was the 2nd run this year with any decent attendence, and a third is in the works, with the year only half over. Plus we had Bill Moore late last year. And I know those further south had at least 1 run.

I here the money issues. will have to wait for a different weekend. I wanted to kkep it close for us northern people to save some of the gas. But I think with a day of wheeling the spring creek trip likly drank 60-70 in gas.

I was actually surprised when I arrived back in Erie and still had over 1/2tank. I'd guess I used about $54 for the day.
