well I just got my new toy running, it's not a bronco but it's close, 76 f-100. I haven't played with a carb in quite a while so i'm hoping one of y'all can help me out. Overall it runs great, freeway speeds are no problem and once it warms up it'll idle around 700 rpm. Much lower than that and it dies. The problem i'm having is slow speeds, at round 30 with rpm's at 1600-1700 it seems like the motor will surge a little, nothing major but I can feel it. I'm going to rebuild the carb, is there anything I should look for? It's a motorcraft 2 barrel. Thanks

that motorcraft is really easy to rebuild.

but when you have it off be sure to check out the EGR system if you have it on there.

there's not much in the way of smog on it, but what i've seen most of what there is has been disconnected
