you were getting hosed there buddy.
i think the state is supposed to check the pumps on an anual basis to make sure that they flow what they say they do. i'm sure there is a number that you can call and report them too.
i would have just kicked the guys teeth in.

Dude, I have been complaining about this for the past 2 days. I get pimped at the gas pump. Robbed, I get robbed. Here take a look at this, :

http://www.gasbuddy.com/

Downtown NY city gets much better prices than i do in PHX.
Us suckers here in the desert are having to still pay over 2 bucks for 91 octane.
Gettin slapped at the gas pump. Damn,

Wyoming is like 1.40 for the good stuff.
dammit. :flipoff:

yeah az is still jacked up....I think the cheap stuff is still around 1.90-1.95...guess we are too close to ca its starting to rub off on us.

I heard a thing a the radio(98kupd) a while back where some stations were putting out of order signs on the cheap grade to force people to buy the more expensive stuff when there was nothing really wrong with the pumps. talk about getting hosed.

oh yeah I just put 50bucks in the bronco the other day and I still had just under 1/4 tank :damn:

yesterday was the first time i've seen gas for less than $2 in almost 2 months. my area has been right around $2.05 for the cheap, $2.15 for name brand 87 octane :flipoff: :flipoff: :flipoff: :flipoff: :flipoff: :flipoff: :flipoff: :flipoff: :flipoff: :flipoff:

it's pretty bad around here. ~$2 for the high end, and ~$1.60 for diesel (sucks cuz the big gas hogs use a LOT more diesel than even the bronco could eat in a week).

hell,. i dont even buy gas at the pump for the bronco or zuk as seldom as they burn the gas. i just always fill them up at the farm because we are getting 93 octane delevired for cheaper prices than regular at the gas station.

I don't know how many of us use our Broncs as daily drivers, my round trip is a little over 20 miles, a tank will last me from Sunday night, generally through the weekend, depending on how much I drive. At about 40 bucks a fill up, I guess I really can't complain some people have it a lot worse, my brother in San Diego for instance..I can still remember the good old days when I could fill up for $32 and thought that was a rip off, those days are long gone now. Well, its the price we have to pay for driving these beasts, like my dad used to say if you have to ask how much it costs to fill it up you probably can't afford to own it.. And to the oil companies who screw us:flipoff:

Wilbur

$2.18 for 87
$2.28 for 89
$2.38 for 92

Where you might ask????

So Ca bitches. So shut up about your stupid prices. :flipoff:

Oh did I mention that I travel a total of 48 miles in one day????? Oh and it took me 1 hour and 40 minutes to get home yesterday????

So all you babies....... SHUT UP

I never said that LA was great and swore by it..... These fawkers around here think

"Hey, the people that live around here can afford it so why not charge $2.59."

I have seen some places charge almost $3 for 87

Try plowing...we had a Feb storm, over 24" in one day (not typical Phila snow storm). Did 100 miles in one parking lot (32 hours straight) and had to fill up the 25 gallon sponge twice. Do the math...2 mpg at $1.59p/g! But the cash well made up for it :P

yes but you can leave....

gas has been coming down a bit lately around me. about a nickle, then I found a station which is only 2.03/gallon. thats a cash savings for me since the next cheapest is a dime more a gallon.

I just got back from Tulsa. I think I stopped at every gas station along the way back to Idaho. :(
Tulsa had 89 oct. for $1.29.
Highest Isaw was $1.98 in Twin Falls ID. I was on fumes, but I only put in enough to get me to Boise where it was cheap.($1.68)
Have you ever noticed that whenever there is a gas hike, when it drops it
stays above what it was before the hike? It's a plot to increase the prices over time.(Paranoya(sp) is a woderfull thing.)

it's really coming down here. it was $1.99 for premium on friday, and is already down to $1.59 on sunday! thank god it's been rough.
