You would be fine with the superduty on this trail if you dont have the bronco goin

Hefty

Yeah, it really depends on $ right now. I've got $2600 in parts to buy and then the time to put into it. But I don't see any issue with coming even if it's with the SDuty. I'm still going on Jenny Creek this weekend

Not sure yet, gotta wait till it draws a bit closer. This was a great run last november. we had a nice sunny day. was real windy up at the lake, and a bit cool, but given it was november it was pretty darn nice. this year is earlier.

What is cool is that we are reviving some group interest here in colorado wheeling!!:thumbup

we have this (Bill moore) and possibly a "white mountain" (up west of Ft. Collins) trip here in Sept./Oct.

And I know I can't commit to this for '08, but next year, I promise that I would like to, and commit to, a trail run out of Colorado Springs....china wall, or perhaps better some other lesser known trails folks there like to run. And hopefully a couple of us from up north of Denver would make the trip down.

Hefty
09-12-2008, 03:38 AM
Maybe for next year a few of us should get together and planout a calendar of trail runs and submit it to the forum? Plan in advance and then it might be easier for every one to plan on coming out. Do a Jamboree of sorts and take a few days at one time to camp and wheel alot of trails in one area? Just a thought. Where's White Mountian I couldn't find it on trail damage

We can start discussing one in another thread if you'd like. I am likely game for next year, buttttttt, Moab from what I know really is best spring timish (gets too darn hot for a mid summer run and camping) or later in the year (about this time maybe?)

I forgot that it is UNC's homecoming on the 11th, so apparently there are 18 events (I am a supervisor for UNC Catering Company) between Friday night and all day Saturday. She told me there is no way I can get Friday night off, but she will work on Saturday. Hopefully she comes threw. If she does make me work Sat. I will do my best to find a sub. But, thats all I can do. I am hoping for the best outcome.

Trip was fun today guys even though I couldn't run my Bronco.

For those of you who don't know, I engaged my four wheel drive at the bottom of the trail, and then had a U-joint at the transfer case snap. Lucky for me a member over at rmftc.com (Mike) was nice enough to lend his tools and some time and I got the new U-joint in after the trip. A big thanks to Rodney(Aurorabusa) for letting me ride with him and his son.

We will have to plan another trip soon, so I can actually run this time. Maybe a snow run up at Sevenmile.

Also, I have a few pictures of the trip that I will get uploaded tomorrow sometime. But now its time for some beers
