Hey this is to all members that live in East Texas, if you are in or anywhere near Galveston or Houston, you need to GET OUT! Don't ride the storm out, do not take it lightly, just leave. :shocked

I hope everyone makes it through ok :rockon

If your one of those 1,000,000 people that have to get out, don't be stubborn, just leave. I heard on the news this morning this one is bigger than Katrina. That would be enough to get me movin.

It's supposed to hit us way up here, I'm sure when it hits land initially it's going to be killer.

I'm in Austin and stores are running out of food and some stations almost out of gas....all due to the evacuees here. We'll have a fun couple of days.

i'm staying. my parent's built there house for cat 3 winds. and we are way up on the north west side of town. yesterday you couldn't leave if you wanted. today there was food and gas a plenty all over town. at about 3 though everythign closed. i'm expecting to not have power for 2 or three days. i figured i'd hep cleanup after the storm and make all the templates for the gussets for all my SAS brackets.

that being said my g/f will be lucky if her parent's house isn't flooded. a few of my friends are going to lose the downstairs of their houses.
