i blew most of my check on my truck today. it felt good actually. i bought a new battery, 100A alternator, HD voltage regulator, distributor, spark plug wires, a cheap knobber stereo, cheap 2x75 amp, wire kit for the install, hammer, punch, new rim really cheap, balanced the 36s. i think there was something else, but i cant remember. later people, i have some stuff to install... I'm with ya man. Just sitting around waiting to be installed I have headers, gears, poly bushings, case of tranny fluid, shift kit. And I'm always looking to buy more stuff. Too many parts not enough time. In the last month I've put on a body lift and new body bushings power steering pump cooler new 3rd member with 4.10's detroit locker and ford WAR case pulled all my carpet out to prep for Rino liner. Does it ever end? I wanna use the damn thing not just work on it

Nope....it never ends. I spent the whole day just looking trough junkyards "just to see what I could find". Guess I did pretty good. I found a T-18, transfer case (married but not sure what kind cause the truck is on the ground) and the mass jacket w/pedals. All for $200....think I should get it??

oh and I found a cluster w/ 100 mph speedo and fuel gauge w/o the dreaded "Unleaded Fuel Only" for $20.

on man i got this sweet ass dizzy. totally boss. actually on this motor i am going with cheap and remanufactured and whatever house brand rebuilder they have. it was in stock and it was cheap and it was the same part for a 79 bronco 351M & 87 460 so i bought it. $45 & a core. when i build my next motor i may get fancy, but this is nothing i want to pour money into other than just getting it running like a 460 should. advance auto have the alternator for the same price with a single groove pulley so i took the autozone one with the serpentine pulley on it back. why bother with swapping pulleys if i dont have to? I narrow it down to I dont let anyone who only owns a Chevy touch my plug wires.

My friend managed to get my old engine to run... with the right order but wrong direction!! Before anyone askes... no it did not run good at all, but it didnt shoot a 3' flame from the carb that time either.
