Im taking the bronco to Clemson for a football game tomorrow, and filled up last night. Since I've been at work, gas prices have gone up $.50 at the place by my office.

Yeah, I went and gassed up the Fusion. Just so I wouldn't have to do it later. It was $3.79 when I went at lunch, curious to see what it is when I leave here. A guy here at work said he talked to his wife and it was $5.20 in Conyers.

I paid $3.71 on Monday and $3.63 today. What's with this gas shortage thing? Haven't heard about it, but I guess I should fill up now and never drive my bronco again. Is this just in the Souteast because of the rain/wind delimma you're having. I know Hurricane/s. Sucks that you guys are getting hit really hard this year. I'll take my earthquakes every few years over that stuff every year. Hope you all are safe and out of harms way. I'd hate to see anyone here have problems because of the weather. Stay safe.

it got crazy after noon today. You won't see me wait in line over an hour just to save $10

Went from $3.59 yesterday to $4.49 now, the sumbitches...
Unfortunately I had to fill up this morning (@ $4.01) but the only fuel shortage I was afraid of was the one occurring in my little Accord, that bitch was on E.

The artificial demand has been created and gas lines are everwhere in my area. Some places have indeed ran out of gas.

Guess the ol' Bronco and 460 F250 won't see much action in the next few days

It was 3.89 when I left work this evening. Went up 10 cents in 6 hours.

And yes, MudMad, its because of the Hurricane. They have to shut down the refinery in the gulf when the storm blows through. The price of oil per barrel is down, but its an issue with the refinery and getting it to us.

oblivious to whats going on in the world, I wondered to myself "self, why is the gas station full at 9:00am?" self thought on it awhile and then i said to myself, "myself, there is a hurricane headed towards texas" , then outloud to myself I said, "self, thats the reason!"

Then I was happy I filled up at 3.49/g because now its up to 3.79/g !!!!

Odd to see TN and MI response and rising prices. No lines here in Indy and gas started with a 3 today.

Honestly I don't even look at the exact price anymore. I go to the same local truck stop for gas and diesel. Just push the card in and grab the appropriate nozzle. I just let Quicken tell me at the end of the year how much I spent on fuel for each vehicle.

it's goin up everywhere. it takes weeks for it to drop 20 to 30 cents then overnight or within a half hour it can go up as much as 50 cents.

After golf last night I gassed up the Lincoln

prices were low at $4.35 an American sized gallon ($1.15/litre for those Canadians forced to work in metric).

This morning it was at least $4.99 an American sized gallon ($1.32/litre) everywhere in the city.

That's a 64 cent/gallon increase overnight :shocked TG I've got the Bronco tanked mostly full(and the locking gas cap on). :popc1:

i have a locking gas cap on my truck, got it when i was going thru my divorce. i probably should get one for my probe, the fuel door with the unlocking lever inside the car won't stop someone from prying the door open.

You're not saving anything KC, just spending less.

Hasn't hit the NE too bad yet. Local Mobil, 1/2 mi from home was the same $3.59 as it's been the past few days, but the Irving station down the road went up .09 to $3.68.
Filled the Focus and Chebby up at Mobil.

Texas has 26 refineries, 13 could be affected by this storm.

It didn't reach $5 anywhere I've seen. I did see the Gov. Christ on the news saying that there was absolutely NO reason for concern that the supply was fine and that they was going after anyone they saw price gouging. I hope they fine them every penny they stole from all the suckers that ran out and got robbed!!!

Down here in VA it jumped 20 cents at this super cheap place I go to. It was like... $3.59? But over off the peninsula, it's $5 a gallon in Newport News.

In some parts of SC it got to $5, mostly small towns that only have 1 gas station to begin with. Here in Cola, prices got up to about 4.50, then came back down last night to 3.99-3.89. A lot of stores are out of gas and the ones that still do have gas either limit you to $50 worth or 10 gallons.
