hmm, if the suspension is done right and all that is wrong with the motor is a head gasket, you could probably get $1,200 for it. seems pretty decent.

i'd add some sliders and bumpers and lockers if it doesnt already have them, and then maybe do something about the t-case

I've seen that rig before... I think he has a buildup on explorerforum.com somewhere.

There's a 1993 Eddie Bauer Sas'd on 35"s that LOOKS in excellent condition (Not sure of engine problems) for 995.00. It's been on the side of the road for a looooooong time. If I didn't have 3 cars already I'd have picked it up for no more than 1000

I'd get a build up of the SAS at the least. We all know what kinda hacks are running around these days....

Sounds like a cool rig though. I could have fun wrenchin on that :D

yea check the SAS closely.

Pull out that 4.0 and drop a efi 351 in it and a c6.

maybe 205 t-case.

Has it been regeared?

Or just make it easy on yourself and get a beat f350 crewcab, move the axle as close as the cab as possible. Cut the rest of the frame off and ditch the bed.

lift it and regear it. Add a winch and some bumpers and sliders. That would be the best and cheapest way.

I've always had thoughts in the back of my head about an exploder sasd with full size running gear and drivetrain.
