How could you resist driving that for 15 years!

I don't remember there being a cobra R in 1993. I do remember the cobra which was a gorgeous car. 75k? No. I'd rather go for a low mile 85-86 for 12k and enjoy the hell out of it. Fox body mustangs aren't collectable enough for 75k.

Apparently to some people they are, and they havn't even met his reserve yet with 23 bids.

Yup, lawsuit papers. I was reading something about how there were only 100 of the Cobra R's made in 93...but due to people over ordering them and being promised them, they sued and made 107 of them total.

Its probably similar to whats going on with the 2007 Shelby or somthing like that. They were only supposed to make 1000 but they continued it to 2008. The buyers were complaining but ford never said they wouldnt make them in 2008 they said they'd make 1000 for 2007. My numbers, etc are probably off but that's the story behind that one.

its stupid, cut out the crap and mass produce em like other cars, that way some of us broke people will still have a chance at one when it becomes a POS and nobody wants to restore it, but no lets sell only 1000 so theyd be a collector and no one can have fun with one b/c its sitting in theyre garage.....i hate that like the new challengers that are preorder only cars

oh well its a nice looking car, but im happy with the BKO

Beautiful car, a rare piece indeed. However I'm confused on how to feel about the situation. I'm not sure if I should oogle at the low miles and cleanliness of the car, or wonder how someone can buy a car like that and never drive it.

If I owned a Cobra Mustang, I'd drive the shit out of it.

That is exactally what makes the car worth what it is. If Ford sold a million of them it would have Bronco value.

That's an absolute mint car.

That I would drive the ever loving shit out of. If I bought that sumbitch I would lay a strip of rubber at 5k rpms right from the PO's driveway.

I'd take that 75k and buy a Skyline GT-R or something.

75k? That ridiculous. Get a normal 1993 Cobra, take out the back seat, seatbelts, speakers, radio, AC, upgrade the brakes and suspension and you have the same thing. Probably for under 20k.

I realize they were trying to save weight but, no fog lights looks horrible. Couldnt they have made a different bumper cover?

Like some others have said, I dont understand not driving it. I'd be itching to lay as much rubber as possible in that thing.

So would everyone else. That's why this one's worth so much. It's not beat to shit like almost every other Fox body out there. Plus these were a limited production run. They really are a LOT of fun to drive, more than any LX or GT I've driven.

Yup...if you want to go out and burn rubber do it with a Mustang that you see every 10 min. There were only 107 of these made. Its a unique car, thats what is so great about it. Granted, 75k seems a bit high to me, apparently it doesn't to some other people.

If I had the car, I would drive it but I would keep the miles low and keep the car in immaculate shape.
