I'm game. Kurt Rohmer 03-17-2004, 01:21 AM Hey Squatty nice new avatar. Yes, very EFFING gung ho, I just want to be able to get the big red machine out on a real trail and put her through her paces. Everyone here is down south, it's like nobody up north wants to really get together and do some crawlin. All talk no walk. Nobody emails, nobody calls. nobody cares? oh well, I'll just put together a small off road club down here in New Haven, West Haven, Hamden, Woodbridge, Orange, Bethany, and North Haven, I've met up with a couple of Blazer Blasters and Dodge Drivers and shared some stories. And got a line on a couple of decent spots. Rock on Dunkin'Donuts on Campbell Avenue!!! As for places to crawl, yeah I got a few places to get dirty without getting arrested. Here's a nugget for those of us in the New Haven County area.... Did you ever go to a place in North Haven called "The Only Game In Town", well just down the street is a lovely spot for 4x4's, ATV's, Dirt Bikes, etc... Gonna be there this week, don't know when, but the big red machine will get to play! Any-who, that's all I've got to say. peace. PaulT 03-18-2004, 03:47 PM Didn't realize we had that many in NH! Kurt Rohmer 04-05-2004, 01:43 AM New Hampshire... I had a buddy who lived in Littleton.. man I know for a fact you guys got some serious trails up there.. I would be so there if you guys know where to go!! LT76C5 04-10-2004, 10:56 AM I am in southwest NH on NH/VT border. I am President of the Granite State Rockcrawlers. We are a small club still trying to grow and get established. We have about 5 members now but looking for more. We do a fathers day run every year but this year it won't be till late july due to the paragon run in PA which a few of our members are going to. My regular e-mail is boonie@nhvt.net Add wheelin to the subject line so we don't trash it. 1984 bronco full size, straight axle swap, 6" suspension lift 3" body 6 pt cage, 302 automatic, 36 swampers, 9" rear with mini spool lock right front. Just installed 6" superflex coils in front last night hope they do the trick. But I do have the problem with the side bow so I have to fix that. Bruce Bronco_In_Ny 04-10-2004, 11:55 AM Well I'm in Rochester Ny and the Off-Road club I'm in has people from all over NW New York and from Niagrafalls. www.mudnuts.org Deadman514 09-26-2004, 04:28 PM Hey Kurt -I'm in the area and need wheelin buddies who know local spots. Were i currently go with my stock bronco the explorer & expiditaion cant So i would go. yea they frown on it. but they cant catch yea unless they sit at the end of the trail. which hardly they do Pendor 06-08-2005, 01:34 PM I'm in Northern Delaware, but quite often venture to southern Delaware to the beaches, and the Mud Pits in middle of New Castle County. I'm looking for some experianced Off-roaders in the Philadelphia or Eastern Shore of Maryland to show me some good OHV Spots, and maybe some good local shops that can help me get some parts and customizing done. Anyone like that out there? |
