My truck is effectively two wheel drive since the seals in the front axle are busted and it leaks faster than I care to put fluid in. So I'm out of the wheeling option, at least for my own truck. But, I do enjoy beer, and Old Town, and I have a feeling many up this way do as well. So instead of setting a date, or any one place, I was wondering what you all thought. There are tons of bars in Old Town, I tend to avoid the frat/douche-bag roofie hangouts, but Old Chicago is a good place, as well as Lucky Joes. So post up a date and place you like, and we will go from there.

thats why i was thinkin old c's its more a restaraunt than a bar. I'd prefer the one on Harmony but that has more to do with it being less crowded and therefore less noisy

The one on Harmony has a good open parking lot. It would be tough to check things out downtown. Parking sucks down there.

There is parking at the courthouse about a block west of the old C's in old town. I'd be down for meeting up. I'm also alright with the one off of Harmony, definitely more parking there. How about tomorrow night (1/24)sometime?

Sounds fun, but I just saw this thread tonight, and I am in Golden. But if we get a date set, I might be able to make it depending on what night it is. I work at 5 am Monday, Tuesday, Wend this week, and Saturday night. So like I said, depending on what night you do it, I might be able to make it. I am down for either Old Town or the one on Harmony. Doesn't make a difference to me.

Yeah, Friday I work at 2 in the afternoon, so chances are I won't be off until midnight or later. Then I work Saturday and Sunday again...damn catering events keep getting added on

Saturday is Valentine's Day. Since I am single I was planning on going to the bars anyways. Eric you live close to Old Town anyways, Thursday or Friday we should go make some progress on the Beer Tour for my first go around, you need to get that second one.

Oak and Mason are the cross streets. If your heading north on college, take a left on olive and go one block to mason. take Mason to Oak and it will be on your Left (North West corner of the intersection).
