Well first, I was wondering whats the point of having the C bushings on the front axels? Is it just for that little bit of give while the truck flexes? In the whole process of deciding how I want to do my SAS, I thought of an idea that seems similar, well almost identical to the Cage dana 60 swap brakets, that way I can make my own set of trailing arms. I was wondering, would something like johnny joints work for mounting the trailing arms to the brakets on the axel, or would I need something that would have a little more give?

you have to have poly or rubber "squishy" bushings at all the axle end mounting points. the more squishy the more flex is posible. i built my own arms. they are in my thread here.

Thanks, thats actually a very similar design to what I had in my head.
