rotated my tires and dropped the psi to 25 as some have suggested. Imediately i noticed that I could feel the detroit alot more. Also, since almost everything on my front end is worn, the steering wander was much more evident. A couple of good things tho, the ride is alot softer. At 30 I could feel just about every bump and it was a really bumpy ride. Now it rides smoother but I feel like I'm wandering all over the place. And the tires grip the road alot better and the screeching around corners is just about gone.

Do I like it better? I'm not sure yet...still trying to get used to it :o

I guess I should mention that I have 36x12.5x15's if it makes a difference

Hell my 39.5 boggers max pressure is 25psi. I run them at 20 on the road.

low pressure on an aggressive tire will be loud

just how loud....can you still hear yourself fart? yes? then it aint that bad.

I remember when I first got my SX's, my ears would ring after driving on the freeway. I can't imagine how boggers would sound

how bout body roll? or the feeling that you're drving a hovercraft? I'm thinking of bringing it up a couple of psi's

You really should get the worn steering components replaced. Then it'll be a lot easier to find the optimum tire pressure.

yeah but for stock drag links and tie rods it's over $300. For a lil bit more I can convert to the heims that I wanted. I'm gonna wait till all the bills are paid and see how much I have left over. Work's been really slow and I'm self employed which is a double whammy.

@25 I couldn't coast at 65, had to be on the gas all the time....brought it back up to 27 and now I'm getting the best of both. I can coast at 60 and not as much screeching around corners ;)
