That would be in April, I believe, at the SOLV event, which I intend to be at.

Maybe Crazed, Todd, and some others might get the itch sooner...and we surely would try to let you know. There is also another guy, Kevin, with a '96 bronco he got not long ago, that I helped with brakes, hubs, etc. that would either ride with me or perhaps bring his totally shiny EB along too. What's cool is that actually there are so many of us right here in the Portland area, can't even name them all. And 2BB's of course has just as many right up I-5 in the Skeeedattleee area.

Did you know that Berne, who's got a 78-79 with soft top, is in the nominations for Tough Truck competition in 4wheeler mag, as is one of his friends with a K5? Course I don't follow them anymore at TSF, not unless I know they are heading to semi-sane trails with a chance for no major damage for us folks with only 35's and a couple lockers.

I really appreciate Gobuc's taking the time to post pics. and stats of my truck, especially with the project he has going with his own rig. I would like to make some corrections to the stats that he posted as some were inaccurate. Not a fault of his, probably just due to meeting so many Bronco owners in one weekend made it easy to mix some stats. I don't want anyone thinking that my truck is more than it really is.

I don't have fused front hubs. Just the factory Spicers.
I don't have a K&N filter(yet).
My D60 front is welded
I have a D70 rear and it's open
It does have some rust

P.S. This truck has been my everyday driver for the past year. I have the gas bills to prove it!

I'm assuming that you are inquiring about the water photo's. That happened at Duval Lakes/road when I swerved to avoid running over a 4-wheeler :goodfinge . I drained several gallons of water out of the oil pan and called a tow truck. I believe it was January of last year.. I only had 500 miles on my brand new engine :slap. To put the photo into perspective, the photographer was standing at the top of a 6 ft hill. These photos illustrate why I am afraid of water. Dove

I'm fairly new to this site but I am having the time of my life looking at all these super terrific Broncos. It sure puts mine to shame ('92 Bronco-used for commuting to work).

I don't do much off roading other than on my motorcycle (Yamaha xt225 or xt650). I did some off roading with my ol' '76 F150 4x4 when I was younger and could still physically crawl under it to make repairs for hours at a time. Not that I'm that old now, just don't have as much time or money to spend either. Single gal with no children-- married into instant family of three young girls and an X-wife from ......... CRAZY HUH!

Anyways, all of the nominees are superior- Why to go! My vote however will be bias to the "Dove" since the oldies are the goodies!
