Hey y'all, I've been trolling the site for months since I bought my Bronco back in August, and finally decided to join. You guys have really helped me out with the tech write-ups (ignition actuator, speaker install, tailgate alignment/rear window issues, and many others).

I'm from Chickasha, OK, a little town between Oklahoma City and Lawton. I work full time and attend classes at OU. And I occasionally cheat on my Bronco with my '81 Turbo Trans Am.

I mainly use my Bronco as a lake toy, but it doubles as an excuse to get me out of the house when my girlfriend is in one of her moods (don't tell her I said that...).

Okay, so on to the truck: '88 Eddie Bauer w/ a 302 and AOD (I'm pretty sure, haven't really bothered to look at the pan), factory 3.55s, 33x12.50R15 BFG A/Ts (on the truck when I bought it). Since I've had it, I've added a 4" Rough Country lift kit, true dual Flowtech RedHot glasspacks, Westin Nerf Bars, Kicker DS 6x8s and 6-1/2s, and a Sony head unit. I've got a NEW IN BOX Skyler Top that I stole for $250, waiting for some warmer weather to install it.

I've got lots of plans for this truck, more than anyone would want to read in an intro post.

Here's a pic of my "Big Ugly '88," I'll post more when I get a chance.

Welcome!

I'm down in Altus, we've got a really good group of guys out here. We have a wheeling event the weekend of the 27-29th, with tractor pulls, and another on May 9th with trucks gone wild.

You should definitely come check it out.

Nice lookin' rig!

Thanks, man, we'll have to see if we can get down that direction sometime. I don't think I trust the Bronco that far just yet, but hopefully soon.
