hey man, i heard you could get a $9.99 universal alternator bracket from autozone and cut off about 2" and then redrill a hole in it. you should be able to line it up and see where you have to run it. maybe behind the tab on the alternator. so the bolt comes in from the backside of the alt? the alt should go into the same hole in the head that the small one did. the new bracket may even use the same stud in the water pump as the small case did. cut the factory ends that slip over the threaded terminals and put on a female blade connectors. after that, it should start right up. good luck, if you have any questions let me know, mine went in easy... :twisted:

Why settle for 90 or 100 amps, When you could have gone internally regulated @ 130 amps and the stock brackets all work. No modifications needed. And it is a simple 3 wire hook up. 1 fused to the battery for charging. one to the output on the alt, the other to a 12v source when the engine is running.

Oh well. No one ever listens....

you never said a thing to me. this was fairly straight forward. i even used the same belt. now that this fits, anything will fit there of that size. i think i could get this pumped up a little. you should have said something. AXE
