Up north by Castle Rock there is a area right off I-5. A little farther up the road by my place there are a few great areas. I'm about an hour north of Portland. :thumbup

I always like to go up to the Olallie lake area in between Hood and Jefferson. There are some really cool side (spur) roads up there. A lot of snow up there this time of year, if you like wheeling in the snow.
