they could use some help.
It's time to step up for your trails.
On July 18th we need help getting gravel up onto Potts Mountain. This is
part of the grant that SWVA4W got last year to keep Potts Mountain open.
I know allot of folks ave never been up on Pott's, me being one of them, so
now's your chance to check it out and do some good for the sport in Va.
We need to help haul the gravel in to where the pond is. Pickups and small
trailers are needed. It is an easy drive to where we need to dump the
gravel. Please sign up on the site below with what you intend to haul gravel
in and the capacity it is rated to haul. If you can't haul gravel, we can
still use you; bring a shovel, rake and gloves.
After we get done hauling gravel we will get whoever is up for it to ride
the rest of the trail. There are plenty of great camping sites close by and
on the trail.
We will be leaving the Ranger station in New Castle at 10:00. Please arrive
at least 30Min prior.
Martin Morrison from the SWVA4W is coordinating this, please direct all
questions to him on the forum or at mgmorrison@rbnet.com
