Hey all,
I've been researching how to mount up my Solid 44 and I need to kow how to mount up the trac bar.

If possible please post some pics of the bar and mounts at the frame and axle.

Also, Bronco Gravyards SAS kit claims to be no welding. How do they attatch the trac bar to the axle then. (Pics)

Lots of pics please

I was just thinking the same thing Dustin!!

BTW, that extra long peice with the hole in the end does that kind of help reinforce/support it??

Also this sounds really stupid but what does a trac bar do?? just go from that bracket to the other end of the axle?? What does that do?? Dont know anything about steering

the extra piece goes to the engine cross member to add support the mount, we may have to add another one in front but we will see how it does.

all the trac bar does is locate the axle and keeps it from moving side to side

Thanks for that info, so it has nothing to do with steering, and its kind of like radius arms in a way.

NOBS!

Where did you get your trac bar and hemi-joints? I want to order one..
Is the Trac bar just straight or does it take a bend around the crossmember?

What are you using for the rest of the steering, Stock stuff?

Thanks

PS
I agree you could make money making those brackets ;)

which is pretty much parallel to the axle right?? cuz the drag link goes from the pitman arm to the driverside?? whats the other one called that goes from pass to drivers side thats in front of the axle??

I will get some completed pictures with all the steering stuff on it, way easier to explain.

I will have to ask scott where he got those....he picked them up for me. The trac bar is straight with no bends. the rest of the steering is built out of DOM like the trac bar.
