I'll be working on the Bronco, as per my usual Saturday routine. RajnCajn is planning on stopping by so I figured I'd see if anyone else felt like cruising over.
Anyone is welcome, its all about talking shop and drinking beer. Send me either a PM or an e-mail at burlswift@highstream.net to get directions.
Besides...I think my house would look nice with a bunch of Broncos parked in front. :toothless

I gotta re-build my 8.8.
I got my Superior chromo axle shafts today.
I got a new tone ring
New bearings, and seals
ahhh, I can already hear myself getting frustrated and cursing.
When i get done with that I might cruise on out, I will let you know.
If any of you guys need to call my fat ass for anything my cell is:
641-2985.
What i mean is if you have any left over beer thats in your way, or you need a heavy guy to help break loose a bolt, or maybe intimidate your neighbors, I am your guy! LOL :toothless

Thanks for the invite. Sounds enjoyable. But, my wife's family is coming over for dinner Sunday. So you know what that means. :banghead
But later this week after work or maybe next weekend I could use an extra hand removing my shell. 75 degrees was sure nice today! :thumbup

Had some fun this weekend. Rajncajn came over Saturday morning with his clean 94'. We dranks a few beers(ok...we drank a lot of beer) and ripped into my Bronco.
Got the back seat and both front seats out, all of the panels, the carpet, and the insulation all ripped out of Da Tank. Durring the week I hope to clean out the cab as much as possible, they used a ton glue on the right side rear fender wall when installing the insulation so I've been trying to remove it with a putty knife but I'm not getting very far. Once I get it all cleaned up I should be ready for Herculiner.
Question...does anyone know where to get seat(driver) mounting rails for the Bronco? After undoing the bolts and removing the seat I noticed that the left rail around the bolt was cracked. I grabbed it with my fingers to see how rotted it was and it completely broke off. If I had a digi cam I'd take a picture so you guys could see what I'm talking about.

hey garth, did i have a large enough torx bit to fit those seatbelt bolts? I think I'm going to get some manual hubs...wanna help? I checked on b'man's site for the pics of the conversion but I can't find it. Can you see the link or is it just me? I think I sold my car as well. I'll find out today. More money to goto the bronco :)

I haven't even tried those torx bits out yet. I've been dealing with house problems. Water main broke in the street in front of my house yesterday, when they fixed it and turned the water back on it then broke in my front yard next to the mail box. Then they fixed that and my water meter broke. :banghead :banghead :banghead :banghead
You'll see how they had to dig everything up if you cruise over this weekend. :cry
I'll fetch you the link to the hub replacement, I think its in the tech write up section.
Edit - Hmm...Jer's write up isn't there anymore, but I found this one from MyFullSize, its pretty good. LINK (http://danielphotography.us/bronco/manualhubs/)
