why not try to make one out of some rubber. maybe a piece of sidewall from an old tire

thats great. if you dont have the top clamp/clevis part of the jack bolted to the top. i got a .99 cent rubber tip like for a cane and then used a zip tie... i may use scotch tape to cover the hole and then dip it in plasticote, but i can get alot of zip ties for 9.95. also you know them long round foam deals that kids play with in pools? cut a 1" thick slice and make a hole in the center and use a zip tie, still under 9.99 especially if you have a kid with one already

I just use an old bungy cord... IT was free, free to me:)

I know there are cheaper ways, but this was fairly cheap, and just a really slick idea. I like things to be neat and tidy, not quite a dissorder but close, I know folks that are far worse.

I agree with you on this..I just ordered one..for 10 bucks this looks much nicer then a bungy cord (which i currently use) and using zip ties like were mentioned before... :toothless
