Bought a new system (cpu, printer, monitor) there in Feb.
Was supposed to have a $150 rebate. Rebates were required to be postmarked no later than 2/28. I mailed mine on 2/27.
Checked online and they said it was rejected because the postmark date was 3/14.
A. BS!
B. Does the post office postmark things on a Sunday? (weeks after it was mailed??)

call and talk to a manager he’ll straighten it out. Not one at the store but at the main customer service office..

Why would you buy a complete system from compUSA anyways? They suck.

If you don't have the know how to build one then I would recommend Dell. Advantage of a place like Dell over building one is they come with the software. But thats the only two options I would use. Nice thing to about building your own is you know what parts are going in and that they are all not cheap o parts.

I agree about building your own system. I doubt that will help you out with this situation though. I would definately just call their corporate office and explain your side of the story. If the first person doesn't give you the rebate, ask to talk to her supervisor. Keep going until someone gives you your money. Trust me, I do it everytime I have an issue. The people that answer the phones are just following orders. When you talk to a manager/supervisor they have more leniancy when it comes to refunds and what not. The other people, they are "told" they can't do that, so they wont. Just keep going up the chain man, you'll get it.
