Anyone local to the Lower Mainland/Van Isle planning a SAS? I screwed the pooch and now have two drivers side radius arm brackets (NOBS type out of 4"x8"x1/4"wall) I only need one ... good way to waste $20. It's rough cut and needs drilling still. Didin't want to just toss it out and figured one of us could use it. And I was just ever so proud of my self looking at my burly new radius arm brackets, for about 5 minutes before I realized murphy's law had removed one of my testicles :lowblow :brownbag :banghead
I'm not looking for money, it's free of charge.
I woulda put this in the general classified section but for the cost of the steel it's not worth transport for anyone outside my local lower coastal BC area, thus the canuck section.

Yeah, first thing that crossed my mind when I saw that .... way things are going with the HEU after today .. looks like the whole province is on the verge of a Union vs Government shutdown. CUPE's out in support, WCB unions just hopped in, not too long before the big guys jump in.

We're in Victoria right now. Thinking about taking the first ferry out in the morning to avoid the hassles.I don't think we'll be hitting Duncan this time around. It would have been good to shoot the shit for awhile and exchange some ideas. Next time :thumbup

Got any pics? I wouldn't mind one for a template. Save me half the work for later but not sure when I would get over there.

no pics at the moment ... but NOBS has pics of his up on his site ... they look like that just not as purty (rough cut) and some surface rust. it ain't going anywhere so if anyone wants the spare, and is coming this way or has friend crossing the pond ... shoot me an e-mail if you want it (my wife'll probably turn it into a planter in the mean time :wacko ) FYI a 10" section of 4"x8" 1/4" wall box tube is $20 so it's a scrooge thing ... I can't bring myself to toss it out.
